Removing Yaris Ia Door Panel

Set the plastic door panel aside in a safe place.

Removing yaris ia door panel. Lift ball out of socket. Pop collar out of bracket. It had a leaking windscreen which was not sorted and the car leaked water for 2 months the water has saturated t. It is best to do this with the door panel as warm as possible like in a heated garage.

Remove the screw under the window control. Lift up the power windoe control being careful to not break the plastic retainer tab. The lower cable with the green plastic collar is attached to the door opener handle. This is my aunts 2004 toyota yaris 5 door.

Remove stuck pop rivets. Remove collar ball. Starting at the bottom pull out the panel and when all of the clips are loose pull the panel straight up. Plastic door panel removed.
