Removing The Door Panel On A Jeep Liberty

The door panel lifts up and off.

Removing the door panel on a jeep liberty. The oem front and rear door speakers of a 2008 to 2012 jeep liberty can be replaced with either 5 1 4. You need to remove the door. Push the tabs and pull off the electrical connectors and or unclip the plastic clips and slide off the door rods. Have a broken power door switch.

Starting at the bottom or back of panel put a small screwdriver or similar object between panel and metal of door and start prying slowly. Then put your door panel down over the lock and onto the window sill. Now on the back of your door handle push this clip off your door handle rod and push it down and out. To remove the oem door speaker unscrew the three screws with a torx t20 star bit screwdriver.
