Remove sliding glass door frame in opening. Generally the threshold is glued to the sill of the door so you need to apply sufficient force to pry it up. Slide the door till it hits this point. This video shows you how to take apart sliding glass doors. Once you remove all the screws lift the door up and make sure that it is completely removed from the bottom track of the door frame.
Do the same on both the left and right ends of the sliding door. Finally the door frame will come free. You may like my other videos. Clear about 10 feet of space around the door remove any furniture or objects and ensure you have plenty of room to maneuver the doors. Then tilt it slightly with help and remove it from the upper track of the door frame as well. Remove the sliding glass door at the bottom of the track you ll see a slight indent that is intended for easy removal. Place the pry bar at a corner of the sliding door threshold and hammer it.
Determine the size of the screwdriver you ll need reach back into the gap with your screwdriver and adjust that screw counter clockwise as far as it will go. Lift it out and set it aside.
